First and most importantly investing in Good quality UV lighting is a must! you will be looking for 100w Ultra violet lighting at a minimum! For optimal uv effect, However this will depend on the room size to how much uv lighting you will need.

Here is my budget friendy recommendation 120w and also IP66 rated so fully waterproof so you can use indoors or outdoors!

I see so many ppl use rubbish uv lighting and its really not that expensive if you shop around. This uv lighting is coming in at at £29.99! & When it comes to a uv party its the most important thing!

Everything doesn't need to be expensive! Get uv creative with cheap black photography backdrops or black grass membrane which can be picked up on eBay for £8-£10 splatter neon paint its such a vibe and is so effective ! use with cheap neon hobby craft blacklight paint to create some super cool splatter uv glow backdrops! its a must!

3. Invest in good quality uv balloons Qualex or Sempertex are my Fave! Sorry i don't like to skimp on price here! although Ebay do have some great alternatives!

4. Make some very cool glow in the dark table centre piece decorations using Glowsticks - 15pk for 0.79p in home bargains or a pack of 100pk off amazon £9.99

5. Create triangle, squares stars or a complete uv glowing dance floor! or tape across tables, walkways & much more with the amazing uv tape - find on amazon from as little as £5

Use Coloured fluorescent card for ceiling hangers - this can be a great alternative to expensive uv décor to create some uv glowing ceiling shapes,uv reactive paper chains- hang decor pieces with clear fishing wire or ribbon - turn off the lights power up the uv light and watch your uv reactive décor come alive.

7. DRINKS THAT GLOW BLUE UNDER BLACK LIGHTSTonic water glows a bright blue under black lights andworks well when mixed with any clear alcohol. Clear alcohol (Gin, vodka, white rum , coconut rum etc) mixed with Tonic Water.

The glowing comes from the fluorescence of the quinine in the tonic water.

Quinine also gives tonic water a distinctive bitter flavor which is why it is best mixed with other sweeter ingredients.As you can see, the quinine glows blue-white when placed under a black light which makes it the perfect ingredient for a spooky JELLY treat.

HOW TO:Prep time:5 mins, Cook time:2 mins Total time: 7 mins Serves:

Glow in the dark JELLY is not only a fun science project, but a super fun Halloween treat. Pick up a black light at your local Halloween shop to show off it’s glow !Ingredients

you will need

1 cup boiling water
1 cup tonic water
1 package of JELLY (SEE AMAZON)
Whipped Cream and Sprinkles for topping (optional)
Additional Sugar (to help cut the bitterness)
Jars
Black Light

Instructions

Bring one cup of water to a boil.
Pour JELLY packet into a large bowl.
Have a grown-up help you add your boiling water.
Stir for two minutes with a wire whisk.
Have a grown-up pour one cup of tonic water into a measuring cup.
Slowly whisk while adding the tonic water. The mixture will be very bubbly. Give it a couple of minutes to rest.
Pour it into four clean jars.
Place in the refrigerator for two to three hours to set.
Top with whipped cream and sprinkles.
Place under a black light and watch it glow. Happy Halloween!

9. MAKE NON EDIBLE GLOWING WATER FOR WATER BEADS OR TABLE FAUX FLOWERS - ETC

The fluorescent dye is another option for a bright effect under a black light. You can extract non-toxic fluorescent dye from a highlighter pen to make glowing water:

Use a knife to (carefully) cut a highlighter pen in half. It's a pretty simple steak knife and cutting board procedure.
Pull out the ink-soaked felt that is inside the pen.
Soak the felt in a small quantity of water.
All done!
