UV Reactive Prints

Our UV reactive prints are specially designed to glow under blacklight (UV) lighting. While the designs may appear subtle or standard under normal lighting, they truly come to life when exposed to UV light—reacting instantly to create a vibrant, eye-catching glow.

To achieve the glowing effect, UV (blacklight) lighting is required. Without UV light, the print will not glow. When used with blacklight, the colours become brighter, bolder, and more dynamic, adding an electrifying visual impact to your space.

Perfect for night events, sensory rooms, gaming rooms, office wall hanging, parties, and immersive themed environments, UV reactive prints are all about creating that unforgettable “wow” moment once the lights go dark.

To get the best glow from UV-reactive wall prints, dedicated UV (blacklight) LED lights are essential. These lights emit ultraviolet wavelengths that activate the UV pigments in the print, making the colours pop and glow vividly.

Recommended UV Light Type:

• UV LED flood lights or bar lights
  
• Wavelength: 365–395nm (365nm gives a stronger, cleaner glow; 395nm is brighter and more affordable but slightly more purple)
  
• Power: 30W–50W per wall section, depending on wall size and ambient light
  
• Beam angle: Wide beam for even wall coverage

• Uv Strip lights can also work well
  

Best Placement Tips:

• Position lights 1–3 metres away from the wall
  
• Angle the UV lights slightly across the surface rather than straight on for a more even glow
  
• Use multiple lights or higher watt such as - 100w or more for large walls to avoid dark patches
  

Environment Matters:

• The darker the room, the stronger the glow
  
• Reduce white or bright ambient lighting for maximum impact
  
• UV prints perform best in indoor or nighttime settings
  

What to Avoid:

• Standard LED lights (they will not activate UV prints)
  
• Weak novelty blacklights with low wattage
  
• Mounting UV lights too far away from the artwork
